Service Description
A melting pot of people, flavours, languages, tradition from all around the Mediterranean. The so called "Pignasecca" market, the oldest market of Napoli is the magic-box of the Neapolitan street food. At each step, you will spot a different "bancarella" a "stall" with seasonal fruit and vegetables, the scream of the "Pescivendolo"(the fisherman) showing clams, mussels, anchovies, sardines..., then you will be attracted from the Pizza Fritta da passeggio, a take-away deep fried Calzone, a must of the Neapolitan Street food. We will stop by a "Cremeria" a Deli, selling all kind of local cheese and of course the Mozzarella di Bufala, with his melting taste. Few steps away from the Pignasecca Market you will enter in the Quartieri Spagnoli, a maze of narrow streets, with its traditional Neapolitan Basso, the most popular ground floor home, where maybe you will smell the fragance of the Neapolitan Ragù or the intense smell of Coffee made with a moka. Of course a for a complete foodie visit of Napoli, we have to taste the best Espresso in the world, the Neapolitan Espresso, a real experience. Cancellation policy: 100% refund 24 hours in advance.
